Research Contractor, EMEA Healthcare Research (Western Europe Focused)

FrontierView – 210 - Editorial /Contractor With System Access /Remote

About the Position

This contractor will support the Frontierview product, part of FiscalNote's Global Intelligence business. This Contractor will be part of FrontierView’s global research team. The Healthcare Research Contractor will be supporting the coverage of our EMEA Healthcare practice, more specifically on the key Western European markets (Germany, France, Italy, Spain, and the UK) helping to construct insights regarding the business implications of economic and policy developments in the country for multinational healthcare companies. The position will report into our EMEA Healthcare team. We do not require specialized healthcare knowledge for this position, instead we are looking for a strong researcher with regional knowledge, ability to quickly get up to speed on new topics, and interested in learning more about the healthcare policy space (including a wide range of policies and regulations impacting market access and reimbursement). We will provide the contractor with coaching, guidance and support at all points, which makes this position an excellent learning opportunity.

For example, the contractor will be required to remain abreast of major developments in country level healthcare policy impacting public and private healthcare expenditure, reimbursement, local formularies, and healthcare system design (among other policy measures that impact the delivery of healthcare to covered populations across Western Europe). While the ideal candidate will have professional or academic experience related to healthcare systems, we will consider individuals that solely have experience with Western Europe politics, economics, and policy more generally, with a strong desire to learn about local healthcare dynamics.

The contractor will have the opportunity to gain exposure to leading decision makers within emerging EMEA’s healthcare markets, develop a deep understanding of the challenges facing these healthcare systems, and build strong views on the major barriers to delivering high quality and effective healthcare products and services.
